ry has so far presented multiple challenges to the real estate industry\,
notably a housing boom and rising property values in the early 2000s\, fol
lowed by economic decline\, mortgage defaults\, and a very unsettled marke
t place that has only recently begun to stabilize. Determining property va
lues depends more than ever on professional expertise\, competence\, the b
est use of technology\, and a commitment to approaching the pricing assign
ment from all pertinent perspectives. This course is specifically designed
to help residential real estate agents and brokers enhance their skills i
n pricing properties\, creating CMAs\, working with appraisers\, and guidi
ng clients through the anxieties and misperceptions they often have about
home values. As real estate professionals gain more understanding pricing
properties and CMAs\, they can effectively function in their role in the v
aluation process.

Course Description:
\nThis course will continue to reinforce the im portance of understanding and knowing how to complete TREC's promulgated c ontracts and selected addenda. The course takes the licensee briefly throu gh the fundamentals of contracts and concludes with in-depth discussion of all the contract paragraphs. As an integral part of the course\, the lice nsee will also be introduced to selected addenda and notices provided by T REC\, the Texas Association of Realtors®\, and Austin Board of Realtors®. Significant time will be spent in 'Q and A' and 'Best Practices'. Upon com pletion of the course\, the licensee will have a more thorough knowledge o f the course content and be able to better meet their responsibilities to clients and customers.
