Course description |
This is a Texas REALTORS® Leasing Specialist (TRLS) Ceritification course. At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to develop criteria for and ability to confidently evaluate a residential lease property, identify the key elements of a Rental Market Analysis and know how to produce a Rental Market Analysis and discover and discern the landlord’s leasing objectives. Attendees will learn to correctly and confidently use and evaluate applicable Texas REALTORS® forms like the Residential Real Estate Listing Agreement, Exclusive Right to Lease (TXR 1102) and the Residential Lease Application (TXR 2003). Other topics covered include how to develop criteria for and ability to confidently evaluate a residential lease applicant, identify and implement successful residential lease marketing tools and techniques, analyze Fair Housing advertising issues, examine and evaluate showing procedures to implement a showing plan and create a privacy policy for sensitive information.
This statewide certification requires completion of two six-hour leasing education courses:

Course description |
This is a Texas REALTORS® Leasing Specialist (TRLS) Certification course. Attendees will also learn to recognize how agency relationships are dissolved, how to identify liability issues associated with agency, match the NAR Code of Ethics to agency relationships, and identify the various kinds of tenancy relationships. Participants will be able to correctly and confidently use the Texas REALTORS® Residential Lease Agreement.

This course by Charles Porter will provide a thorough examination of farm and ranch real estate practices in Texas relating to the duties required of Texas real estate license holders. Learning objectives include how to properly classify properties as farm and ranch, similarities and differences between farm and ranch brokerage and other real estate brokerage, unique skills needed, promulgated contract forms, special leases and disclosure notices, and unique ad valorem taxation problems and benefits.
The student will learn and gain a professional understanding of the special skills needed to ethically and lawfully practice in farm and ranch brokerage including special skills in understanding water rights, implied/prescriptive/express easements, mineral rights, title policies, surveys, government assistance programs, strips/gores, boundary agreements, and the court cases which form the legal basis of these unique aspects of farm and ranch practice.

With the very active market, the mortgage and appraisal industry have seen changes that
impact consumers and license holders. As a result, it is important for real estate agents to understand appraisals and who the appraiser works for. The purpose of this course is to provide insight into the residential appraisal process. Course will provide a review of a blank appraisal report. Agents will gain the knowledge to recognize a valid appraisal, elements of the appraisal process and what to do if a property does not appraise for the sales price and how to proceed if it’s determined that a correction needs to be made to the appraisal report.

Enter your User ID and Password
From Home page, go to the Input tab and click on Input
Under Listings, go to the “Quick Modify” section and enter your MLS # and edit
In Select Form you will go to Open Houses
You will enter the date of the tour you want your home on.
Time will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
Active status is “yes”
Under Open House Type, it is very IMPORTANT to make sure you pick “CARAVAN” (This is the only way we can find it to enter your property on the tour).
Under Comments, please put which tour (New Braunfels, San Marcos or Seguin) you want it on and any other additional comments you’d like.

This course by the Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporatio, (SETH), covers the most up to date guidelines for SETH Programs. Agents will learn program requirements to meet changes in the market. Coiurse provides REALTORSs with access to these guidelines and educates them on programs available helps SETH meet our goals for making affordable housing available in a community. Attendees will receive handouts covering program guidelines and an invitation to request customized flyers and social media posts.

Course description |
This course reviews the most widely used TREC and TAR forms needed to conduct real estate transactions. Included are various sales contracts and a wide range of addendum. This course teaches the proper use and completion of these forms and provides a comprehensive view of the types of contracts available for use in real estate transactions. It will also cover how to handle updates and changes to contract forms, along with other related documents and addenda.
This purpose of this course is to familiarize the real estate license holder with the most current and commonly used forms in a residential real estate transaction. Will learn to understand and use the proper form(s) for different real estate transactions so that they effectively serve their client. The course intent is to provide insight on the importance of using correct form(s) to ensure a successful transaction for the agent and client.
