This 3 hour class is a deep dive into valuation, various returns analysis, and holding period expectations in light of dynamic market conditions. This class is ideally suited for real estate investors, brokers and other fiduciaries actively managing, advising, and brokering the disposition of realty assets. After completing the class, students will gain additional financial and economic skills to adequately evaluate market risks and opportunities for their clients.

TThis course by Ginger Unger is designed for residential and commercial agents to obtain an understanding of the cannabis industry within the real estate industry. The agent will understand the federal and state laws concerning cannabis industries in Texas. Agents will become knowledgeable of the expected feasibility documents and actions that a novice person entering the cannabis industry would rely on a real estate agent to explain. Facts on the difference between being a grower of hemp grower in the industry and a retail location with CBD products with Texas laws. Agents will learn how to expand their knowledge on working with buyers with the intent to purchase land or warehousing for the purpose of entering the cannabis business. Why a Cannabis LLC beats a C-Corp. Real property forfeitures for marijuana Tenants, their marijuana leasehold is key. The role of the title companies in the sales of cannabis use properties. The agents will develop a lease checklist to help them represent a Tenant and/or Landlord with the cannabis industry.

This course reviews the most widely used TREC and TAR forms needed to conduct real estate transactions. Included are various sales contracts and a wide range of addendum. This course teaches the proper use and completion of these forms and provides a comprehensive view of the types of contracts available for use in real estate transactions. It will also cover how to handle updates and changes to contract forms, along with other related documents and addenda. The intent of tis course is to provide insight on the importance of using correct form(s) to ensure a successful transaction for the agent and client.
