Course Description:

Course covers how to finance a property without comparable sales of like property. Hard to finance property types such as: Non- Warrantable Condos, Barndiminiums, Log Homes, Underground Homes, etc. Bridge Loans and how to purchase the new home prior to selling the current home and not have to qualify for both homes for financing. Also updates on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac covering the two sources guidelines and how to use the differences to your client’s advantage.

Course Description:

This class consists of an overview of the benefits offered by the Texas Veterans Land Board. Emphasis is on the Veterans Housing Assistance Program and the Land Loan Program because those are the benefits most that real estate agents will be working with. Housing, Land and home improvement processes are described in the course. Also marketing techniques for connecting with veterans are an important part of this presentation.

This course will provide real estate professionals the tools they need to understand mortgage options for serving the Texas Veteran looking to buy a home. The course is designed for those without a financial background with the "nuts & bolts" of VA and Veterans Land Board financing programs in order to effectively communicate with buyers and sellers alike.

This class consists of an overview of the advantages and how to structure a FHA/HUD 203K Renovation Loan and a FNMA Home-Style Renovation Loan. These loans provide the buyer an opportunity to purchase and fund the renovations necessary to improve the market value and overcome Health and Safety issues. Taking this class will give agents the tools, knowledge and confidence to better serve all their homebuyers. They will come away from the class with an understanding of how to assist both buyers and sellers in selling and revitalizing existing homes in established neighborhoods.

Relevancy:
The intent of this class is to educate real estate license holder about the mortgage lending opportunities of the FHA/HUD 203K Renovation Loan and the FNMA Home-Style Renovation Loan. Enter your User ID and Password                         

From Home page, go to the Input tab and click on Input

Under Listings, go to the “Quick Modify” section and enter your MLS # and edit

In Select Form you will go to Open Houses

You will enter the date of the tour you want your home on.

Time will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Active status is “yes”

Under Open House Type, it is very IMPORTANT to make sure you pick “CARAVAN”  (This is the only way we can find it to enter your property on the tour).

Under Comments, please put which tour (New Braunfels, San Marcos or Seguin) you want it on and any other additional comments you’d like.
