Course Description:

The seller services day includes comprehensive strategies for working with sellers, including prospecting, the difference between property value and property price, preparing and staging property, and marketing listings. It provides a thorough discussion of the listing agreement and addresses seller disclosure. Further, it reviews best practices for listing appointments and presentations, covers property salability, price adjustments, relists, and relocation services.

The 89th Texas Legislature addressed several important issues affecting real estate statewide. Related legislation has been signed into law, including SB 2349 (effective Sept, 1, 2025) and SB 1968 (effective Jan. 1, 2026). These bills directly impact consumers and licensees. This course is designed to address these changes to the Texas Real Estate Licensing Act and bring awareness to licensees who are the boots on the ground working with buyers and sellers in a dynamic and changing real estate environment.

 Course Description:

This class provides an overview of housing finance benefits available to Texas Veterans. With an emphasis on housing assistance and land purchase financing, as these are the benefits most real estate agents will be working with when assisting a veteran. Housing, Land and home improvement processes are described in the course. Also covers marketing techniques for connecting with veterans. Course will provide real estate professionals the tools they need to understand mortgage options for serving the Texas Veteran looking to buy a home or purchase land. The course is designed for those without a financial background in the "nuts & bolts" of VA and other financing programs for veterans in order to effectively communicate with veteran buyers and sellers.

Perhaps you also belong to a trade association connected to the real estate business that has a code of conduct and you see that as a requirement for engaging in the business. Perhaps you belong to a real estate trade association that has a code of ethics as a requirement for engaging in the business. Texas law and the various trade association code of ethics are similar yet not identical. This class is about your license requirements not, trade associa­tion expectations.
